INTERNATIONAL. Leading cruise retail concessionaire Starboard Group has committed its support to the retail sessions at Seatrade Cruise Global 2025 (8-9 April) as a Platinum Partner.
The Retail Days – a series of conference sessions dedicated to retail at sea – take place at Miami Beach Convention Center on 8-9 April, co-organised by The Moodie Davitt Report. Seatrade Cruise Global is the premier annual gathering of the cruise industry worldwide and runs from 7-10 April 2025.
Starboard Cruise, a division of Starboard Group, manages retail on more than 90 ships across 15 cruise line partners, with expanded ecommerce capabilities and other products. Starboard Cruise recently secured the onboard retail contract for Royal Caribbean International’s third Icon Class ship, Icon III, slated to launch in 2026.
Starboard Group President & CEO Lisa Bauer said: “Retail continues to shine as a driving force in the cruise industry, and we’re proud to see its importance celebrated with a full day of dedicated programming at Seatrade Cruise Global.
“As the leading retail curator at sea, we’re excited to return as the Platinum Sponsor of The Retail Day and to partner with The Moodie Davitt Report to deliver a dynamic agenda.
“This event is an incredible opportunity to explore new ideas, share insights and strengthen connections with our industry peers and partners. We can’t wait to join the conversation and contribute to shaping the future of cruise retail this April.”
In April 2024, a full day of retail-related programming took place for the first time at Seatrade Cruise Global, and was well attended by cruiselines, concessionaires and brand owners. Starboard was a Platinum Partner at that event.
The attention to onboard retail reflects the importance of the channel to cruiseline revenues and its role in enhancing the guest experience.

Effy Jewelry has also been named as a Platinum Partner of the retail sessions at Seatrade Cruise Global 2025. Details of further sponsoring partners will appear soon, with full information on the programme to follow. For partnership opportunities contact Aran Turner at Aran@MoodieDavittReport.com
