Stellar line-up of speakers and panellists confirmed for AAA Retail & Commercial Forum

AUSTRALASIA. With just over one month to go until the Australian Airports Association (AAA) Retail & Commercial Forum, a who’s who of speakers from the airport commercial industry in the Pacific region has been lined up for the event in Brisbane (17-19 July).

Some 45 speakers and panellists will address the Forum and share their perspectives on how new benchmarks can be set across all elements of the airport commercial business.

Brisbane Airport Corporation is host for the 2022 AAA Retail & Commercial Forum, with senior executives from the airport among the strong speaker line-up

Organised by a partnership between the AAA, The Mercurius Group and The Moodie Davitt Report, the Forum will be held at the Sofitel in Brisbane and brings together all the key players in the non-aeronautical industry, including airports from Australia and New Zealand, duty free operators, specialty retail operators, food & beverage (F&B) operators, foreign exchange operators, advertising concessionaires, ground transport providers and various advisers and suppliers.

The speakers and panellists come from four main categories:

Airports: Adelaide, Auckland, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney and Sunshine Coast

Concessionaires: Amcal, ARE, DFS, Dufry, Food Co, Heinemann, Hertz, HMSHost, LagardèreAWPL, Lotte Duty Free, SSP, Travelex, Uber and Wilson Parking

Brands: Coca-Cola, Craveable Brands, Diageo, Estée Lauder Companies, Mecca Brands and McDonalds

Industry/Other: Bonza, Cox Architects, TH?NK Global Research, tRetail Labs, Queensland University of Technology

Sofitel Brisbane is the venue for the second edition of the Retail & Commercial Forum

AAA Chief Executive James Goodwin said: “The line-up of speakers for the Forum will cover a variety of retail topics, making it relevant to all airports, no matter their size.
