Strange Nature Gin has appointed Vintage International as its exclusive Middle East travel retail distribution partner, effective 1 March.
Strange Nature, a loyal brand partner of The Moodie Davitt Report, described the move as a strategic alignment with its brand objectives.

With strong distribution across Oceania, Asia and North America, Strange Nature is now looking to build on the brand’s strong start in the Middle East with Qatar Duty Free, where they have actively invested via staff trainings, price promotions and display activations.

Strange Nature General Manager and Part-Owner Rhys Julian commented: “Deciding to partner with Salim and Vintage was two-fold. Firstly, we believe Strange Nature complements Vintage’s specialised fine wine and super-premium spirit portfolio exceedingly well.
“Then Vintage’s time in market (since 2002) means they not only have great know-how but, just as importantly, a strong travel retailer network.”
Since Strange Nature’s launch in October 2021, the brand has achieved notable success in both duty-free and domestic channels, standing out for its distinctive packaging, rich storytelling and flavour profile.

At the same time, it secured recognition at the 2024 and 2025 IWSC competitions, scoring 95/100 and 98/100, respectively, with the 2024 entry ranked as Best Contemporary Gin.
Vintage International Managing Director Salim Aziz Farhat said: “We are excited to partner with Strange Nature for the Middle East market. Crafted through an innovative distilling technique and recognised with internationally acclaimed awards, Strange Nature Gin is a standout in its category.”
“Vintage International is proud to bring this distinguished, high-quality gin to discerning, gin-enthusiast travellers across the region.”
The brand’s international footprint now spans over 20 key airports, including Auckland with Lagardère Travel Retail and Sydney with Heinemann, Singapore Changi with Lotte Duty Free, Indira Gandhi International with Delhi Duty Free and Hamad International with Qatar Duty Free, alongside key Indonesian hubs with Avolta.
To complement this, the brand is also preparing to announce its first North American listings. ✈
