AUSTRALIA. Sydney Airport Corporation Limited (SACL) has invited Expressions of Interest for the award of Advertising Display Rights at the airport.
Interested parties should visit www.sydneyairport.com/advertising for submission requirements, assessment criteria and information.
Expressions of Interest close 3pm Wednesday 2 March.
The appointed advertising business partner will sell, market and promote the full range of possible advertising opportunities and maximise the advertising potential of Sydney Airport.
Sydney Airport is the nation’s international gateway and primary airport servicing New South Wales and the city of Sydney. It handles over 26 million passengers annually, of which 9 million are international passengers. This is forecast to double over the next 20 years.
SACL is seeking to position Sydney Airport as a premium advertising market place offering a choice of standard, creative and innovative advertising medium opportunities that maximise client appeal, advertising effectiveness and revenue growth.
It said: “The airport medium is a highly important tool to target the sought after business sectors and higher socio-economic groups. Advertisers are increasingly using airport advertising as a means to deliver targeted above the line and below the line messages to their customers.”
