TAIWAN/JAPAN. Leading Taiwanese duty free retailer Tasa Meng Corporation has donated NTD$3,000,000 (US$100,000) to the Red Cross Society of the Republic of China to support the relief efforts in earthquake-ravaged Japan.
The company noted: “The devastating natural disasters that happened in Japan have became a very serious issue. The country’s normal life and business environment has been very much affected due to radiation, water shortage and electricity shortage.
“We offer our prayers for the victims of this natural disaster in Japan.”
