UK. British luxury jeweller and silversmith Theo Fennell is to unveil his first fragrance in February. The launch of Theo Fennell Scent for women will take place at Harrods department store in London.

Designed to be worn in the evening, the juice contains notes of saffron, cardamom, lily, rose, orchid, jasmine sambac, orange flower, cumin, cinnamon, patchouli, tonka bean and sandalwood.

A number of skus feature silver casings, including the 15ml Pure Parfum and edp purse spray.

Theo Fennell is known for his witty, quirky jewellery, watches and silverware. As well as a flagship boutique in London, the designer’s products are carried at upscale department stores including Harrods and Selfridges, as well as Harrods Duty Free at Heathrow Airport T1, T3 and T4.

Overseas stockists include Harvey Nichols in Dubai, Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford, and the resort hotels Sandy Lane in Barbados and Soneva Fushi in the Maldives.

Fennell, who started his business in 1982, has an in-house design team producing modern but traditionally crafted pieces. His signature keys and crosses are worn by celebrities and socialites alike.

Now a publicly listed company, Theo Fennell posted first-half 2006 sales of £10.6 million, up by +41% on the same period last year due to its significant sales growth across the business.

In November, the company said it was performing ahead of expectations in its key markets of Hong Kong, Dubai, Dublin and Moscow and planned further expansion.
