SINGAPORE. Times Newslink was the sole bidder in a tender issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore for a brand name/concept shop concession at Singapore Changi Airport’s departure/check-in hall west in Terminal 1.
The retailer, which already enjoys a strong presence at Changi offered the following rental formula:
Proposal 1: (With capital expenditure of S$10,000 on Decorations and Furnishings): an additional rental of 20% on incremental gross sales exceeding total monthly gross sales of S$50,000;
and Proposal 2: (With capital expenditure of S$62,000 on Decorations and Furnishings): an additional rental of 15% on incremental gross sales exceeding total monthly gross sales of S$50,000.
The contract runs from 1 October 2006 until 30 September 2008.
