Zero Group claims that the underwater camera and some other popular products have been subject to imitation. |
UK. Travel retail company Zero Group claims that some of its products are so popular that they are being imitated. But it maintains that its originals – such as an underwater camera and a folding electronic brick game – have additional features not available in the fakes.
Managing Director Geoff Hutley said: “It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery so really we should be pleased that the products are doing so well, especially as our north China manufacturing enables us to beat any cost price quoted. However we stress that our products are still the original and the best and in the case of the game are with additional features not found in the copies.”
Zero will be exhibiting at the Cannes show next month. Its optical range of cameras and binoculars as well as toys and games can be seen on stand P4 in the Mediterranean Village. Other travel retail products including a 9-world multi band radio will also be exhibited.
