CHINA (HONG KONG). 11 Skies – the HK$20 billion (US$2.5 billion) mixed-use development project by New World Development and operated by K11 Group at Hong Kong International Airport’s SkyCity – has claimed top honours at the prestigious Asia Pacific Property Awards 2022.
Three awards recognise the “game-changing” retailtainment destination’s high-quality architecture and design, underlining the joint efforts of 11 Skies and its partner, design specialist Lead8.
According to 11 Skies, the awards also highlight what will become a “future landmark” at the hub’s SkyCity, which houses Hong Kong’s largest retail, dining and entertainment complex, as well as offices and hotels.
11 Skies was recognised as:
- Nominee, Mixed Use Development Asia Pacific
- 5-Star, Best Mixed Use Development Hong Kong
- Award Winner, Mixed Use Architecture Hong Kong.
The Asia Pacific Property Awards judges focused on design, innovation and sustainable development, noting 11 Skies’ efforts in combining retail, entertainment and office space “with creativity and top-notch architectural design”.
11 Skies is set to open in phases from 2022 to 2025. According to K11 Group, it will offer Hong Kong’s largest hub for retail, dining, entertainment and commerce, as well as a must-visit destination for local, regional and international travellers.
