HONG KONG. Camus International’s area director based in Hong Kong Helen Tam is to retire at the end of this month after over 20 years with the company. Most recently, she was responsible for developing the cognac in Greater China, Indonesia and Singapore duty-free markets, and headed the company’s marketing services division. Camus marketing director Cyril Camus said: “Helen has made an enormous contribution to the success of the Camus brand in Asia/Pacific and we are naturally sorry to see her retire, but fully understand her wish to spend more time with her family.”
Tam’s role will be taken up by Tony Ngo, who has previously worked with United Distillers and Reemstma. Camus president Asia Pacific Richard Ashworth commented: “We are delighted that Tony has agreed to join us as area director. He will bring strong marketing skills and valuable experience to some of our most dynamic markets in Asia.”
