Gucci Parfums invites consumers to Envy Me – 18/08/04

FRANCE. Cosmopolitan Cosmetics is updating its Gucci Envy fragrance franchise with a new feminine scent, Gucci Envy Me. It will be introduced worldwide from September.

The objective of the launch is to both capitalise on the support of the existing Gucci Envy clientele, and to recruit new consumers to the brand. The target market is women aged 18 to 35.

Described as seductive, tender and voluptuous, the pale pink fragrance is a floral-fruity musk. It opens on notes of pink peony and water jasmine, spiced up with pink pepper. These lead to a mix of lychee, pomegranate and pineapple, which give way to a heart of pink musk, seringa, and white tea. Sandalwood, teakwood and white musk complete the formula.

The flacon – a reworked version of the original Gucci Envy bottle – is a slender column embossed with the signature Gucci “GG” logo in candy-pink. The cap is a glossy white cube stamped with the fragrance name in pink and silver.

The white outer carton also features the pink “GG” design, and is coloured a vibrant fuchsia on the inside.

The Gucci Envy Me line-up comprises 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edt sprays, a 200ml bath and shower gel and a 200ml body lotion. The recommended domestic price points are €38, €58, €78, €30 and €33, respectively.
