The Braun Activator 8588 |
GERMANY. The “˜pocketability’ factor plays a huge influence in Braun’s latest shaver and toothbrush designs, to be showcased at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this October.
To address the issue of Activator’s bulky packing, Braun has released two new models that come with an optional cleaning device more suitable for travel retail.

The Braun cruZer 2865 |
The Braun Activator 8588 and 8583 shavers are priced at €179 (US$217) and €159 (US$193) respectively.
The Braun cruZer 2865, priced at €75 (US$91), is a beard shaper that comes with an extendable long hair trimmer in for different beard length for different beard styles.
The Braun Oral-B Professional 8500 (D 18) toothbrush offers a new speed control for the oscillating-rotating brush head at 26.000 to 46.000 pulsations and also at 5.600 to 8.800 oscillations per minute. The model also features an additional brush attachment for natural tooth whitening, a tongue cleaner for fresher breath and inter-dental cleaner for spaces in between teeth.
The Sonic Complete (S 18) toothbrush offers slower cleaning mode for sensitive areas, a massage mode for gentle brushing and high frequency vibrating mode for a more thorough brushing.
The new, travel-friendly Activator shavers and Oral-B toothbrushes are just a few of the latest Braun products to be showcased in Cannes.

Braun says more products may be shown in Cannes but will be officially introduced late this year and early next year.
