FRANCE. Parfums Christian Dior will introduce a clutch of novelties in the travel retail channel next month.
Within fragrance, the company will launch Poison Amulets, a four-sku, limited-edition, refillable collection of purse/travel sprays, in each of the Poison fragrances (the original, Pure Poison, Tendre Poison and Hypnotic Poison).
These Poison Seductress Amulets are available as a 15ml edt (edp for the Pure Poison), plus two 15ml refills and a funnel.
They are presented in a protective satin pouch coloured to match each fragrance’s livery (e.g. red for Hypnotic Poison). The outer carton features a “book-case” opening.
The recommended price point is US$57.
Within makeup, the company will unveil the Dior Addict Pearl Event, for Asian markets. This will focus on the repackaged Dior Addict Pearl Lipstick, plus the new formula and packaging of Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss and Nail Enamel. The lines incorporate new shades, and new iridescent pearl effects.
The recommended price points are ¥2,300 for the lipstick and glosses, and ¥2,000 for the nail polish.
Also new within make-up is 5 Couleurs, a revamped version of Dior’s emblematic eye shadow palette. It features new and “sprayed” shades – in order to maximise radiance – plus updated silver and blue packaging.
The recommended price point is US$46.
Lastly, the Spring Look 2006 Star Product is Dior Gourmette (pictured), inspired by the eponymous Dior jewellery collection.
This is a chain bracelet, complete with Dior nameplate, which conceals a Dior Addict Ultra Gloss formula duo. These are available in two colourways: Urban Chic and Street Charm.
Dior Gourmette will retail at US$42.
