Estée Lauder launches Emerald Dream at Singapore Changi Airport – 15/02/07

SINGAPORE. Estée Lauder has successfully launched Emerald Dream, its new travel retail exclusive fragrance, at Singapore Changi Airport. As announced recently in The Moodie Report, the fragrance is to be available exclusively in travel retail for one year only.

The Changi launch marks the fragrance’s debut in Asia Pacific. Emerald Dream material can be seen throughout Terminals One and Two, including a big promotion in the central Nuance-Watson (Singapore) shops, merchandising displays in the wing shops and large posters along walkways.

Sales are said to be performing exceptionally well, achieving +18% above target. This is partly attributed to the concerted visual support that helps increase visibility and creates awareness.

“We are proud to continuously focus on newness, bringing exclusive launches to Changi Airport,” said Nuance-Watson (Singapore) Executive General Manager Ken Tse.

Estée Lauder Travel Retailing, Asia Pacific Vice President/General Manager Stefan Herzog added: “It is exciting to work with retail partners and airport authorities that have a keen interest in supporting product launches. Partnerships like this result in a win-win for everyone!”
