EUROPE. Gebr Heinemann and DFDS Seaways have entered into a new co-operation agreement. The partners signed an exclusive delivery contract during this week’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
From 1 May 2008 the six DFDS Seaways ships serving the Amsterdam-Newcastle, Copenhagen-Oslo, Esbjerg-Harwich and Newcastle-Bergen routes receive their perfumes, cosmetics, spirits, tobacco and confectionery from Gebr Heinemann’s logistics centre in Hamburg.
The agreement covers the ships’ onboard areas, shops, food & beverage outlets and crew sales.
