EYE leads digital advertising revolution at Changi – 05/12/07

These images of the gleaming new T3 underline both the strength of the advertising opportunity and the spectacle of Singapore Changi Airport’s new terminal

SINGAPORE. With just a month to go before the official opening of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal Three on 9 January, EYE has unveiled its latest range of digital advertising opportunities across all terminals.

EYE is a leader in digital and innovative out-of-home media offerings, with a strong focus on airport business.

The Broadcast Digital Network, featuring a range of digital advertising screens known as Digital Eyelites, traces the arriving, departing and business passengers’ airport journeys.

The multiple locations across T1, T2, T3 and JetQuay offer high frequency of messages, EYE said.

The Landscape Digital reaches business travellers in T2 and T3 airline lounge areas. Made up of 18 42-inch digital screens measuring 1.56m (height) x 5.56m (width), this site delivers “unavoidable impact to the audience with its head-on orientation”, the advertising specialist said.

EYE’s first-ever LED display at Singapore Changi Airport – the landmark LED screen in T3’s shopping street – is the largest digital display of its kind in an airport worldwide, measuring 3.5m x 9.8m.

“The landmark LED screen is an excellent opportunity to make an impactful statement at T3,” said EYE Singapore General Manager Raju Bhakta. “Not only will it be seen close-up by the business travellers in the airline lounge on Level 2, passengers moving along the extended shopping street will also be able to view the screen clearly from afar.

“With animated advertising on such a large scale, this site dominates the shopping precinct, providing message cut-through to advertisers.”

He added: “Our digital media offerings follow a simple, standard, highly effective and proven formula – a maximum of three advertisers on each network, seven-second animated advertisements that draw attention and prime placement for optimum viewing potential.”
