SINGAPORE. Five companies have submitted tenders for the latest mid-price fashion accessories concession at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2. At stake is a 34sq m unit and a three-year contract that begins on 16 May 2008.
Jewellery and watch brand Denni looks a warm favourite for the concession based on the minimum guarantees. Singapore-based Denni International offered either: (i) 32% of the total monthly gross sales; OR (ii) a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$82,000, whichever is higher of (i) or (ii).
Paris Bijoux offered either: (i) 30% of the total monthly gross sales; OR (ii) a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$60,000, whichever is higher of (i) or (ii).
The Marketing Company, representing the Accessorize brand, offered either: (i) 25% of the total monthly gross sales; OR (ii) a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$38,000, whichever is higher of (i) or (ii).
Chomel offered either: (i) 20% of the total monthly gross sales; OR (ii) a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$35,000, whichever is higher of (i) or (ii).
Finally, Ossia International, representing the Camper brand name, offered either: (i) 10% of the total monthly gross sales; OR (ii) a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$5,000, whichever is higher of (i) or (ii).
In other Changi news, Active World has been awarded a mid-price brand name fashionwear concession at T2, Departure/Check-in Hall South. The company, which will trade under the Carlo Rino brand, name was the sole bidder for the 39sq m unit.
The contract begins on 1 April and runs for three years. Active World offered either 33% of the total monthly gross sales or a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$9,860, whichever is higher.
