NETHERLANDS. A new ‘Vizzit’ outlet opened its doors today at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol’s Pier B offering passengers the opportunity to make last-minute purchases before boarding their flight.
The store – which stocks a select product range including perfumes, liquor, special offers, souvenirs and snacks – is located near the departure gate at Pier B.
Vizzit is a joint venture between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and World of Delights, which currently operates the delicatessen shops in the See Buy Fly Shopping Centre at the airport.
Schiphol Group said it plans to have all stores in its pier areas remodelled to match the Vizzit concept during 2009.
