Autogrill opens two new outlets at Brussels Airport – 07/07/08

BELGIUM. Autogrill Belux today opened a new Quick fast food outlet at Brussels International Airport, to be followed by the opening of a sports bar later this week. Both outlets are in the newly renovated Concourse A.

“The opening of these two outlets by Autogrill Belux fits perfectly within the project aiming to renovate entirely the shopping zone on Concourse A,” said Autogrill Belux CEO Jean-Paul Van Avermaet. “With these openings we are not only contributing to the overhaul of the shopping zone and to travellers’ comfort, but also creating 32 new full-time jobs. Given the positive impact of these initiatives, Autogrill Belux will open more new outlets in the months ahead in Brussels Airport.”

Autogrill partner Quick Restaurants already operates one outlet in the Arrivals Hall at the airport. For the new restaurant Quick has opted for its ‘Loft’ décor and will be able to accommodate 120 travellers.

On Thursday Autogrill Belux will open a new sports bar on Concourse A. It will be open from 4.30am to 9pm and is dedicated to extreme sports. Apart from showing live matches and events the bar is also exhibiting a number of novel items, notably a Red Bull Formula One racing car, which is on display until the end of September.
