Netherlands-based brand Rituals has opened its first airport store, at Heathrow T4 |
Cloosterman said: “Rituals aims to be a “˜journey for the senses,’ so where better to open a store than at Heathrow, one of the world’s busiest and best-connected international airports. With a passion for making the ordinary, extraordinary, the store will offer passengers a peaceful haven where they can sample our products, enjoy a hand massage or have their make-up done whilst sipping a cup of white tea.”
BAA Retail Concessions Director Brian Woodhead added: “Rituals has built a strong and loyal following since its first store opened in 2000 so we are delighted to be able to offer its much-admired range of home and cosmetics to our passengers. We are continually looking at ways of enhancing people’s experience at Heathrow and believe this latest premium addition in this stand-out terminal will deliver a service that works in harmony with passengers’ needs and meets our long-term commitment of making every journey better.”
The launch of Rituals follows the unveiling of a new-look retail offer at T4 after a £200 million redevelopment programme. As well as the first ever airport Cath Kidston store, Terminal 4 now houses fashion brands including Jimmy Choo and Etro, amongst others.
