Fresh retail concept: Swarovski’s Kansai Airport store incorporates the brand’s new Crystal Forest architecture |
JAPAN. Austrian crystal specialist Swarovski has opened a boutique at Kansai Airport in Osaka featuring its new Crystal Forest architecture, as exclusively revealed by The Moodie Report.
The stand-alone Swarovski shop is owned and operated by KAA, Kansai Airport’s own retail company, and is a first for any Japanese airport.
Kansai International Airport Company’s (KIAC) ambitious new commercial complex, KIX Airside Avenue, features 5,600sq m of space.
KIAC extended the fourth-floor mezzanine of the terminal to provide an additional 2,000sq m of space for the complex, which houses a number of other luxury brands including Cartier, Coach and Tiffany.
