Frédérique Constant unveils limited-edition Healey watches

SWITZERLAND. To celebrate its co-operation with Austin Healey car owners’ clubs around the world, Swiss brand Frédérique Constant is introducing two limited editions of its Healey Chrono-Automatic watch.

The hand-polished, rounded case with a diameter of 43mm comes in two different finishings: a rose gold-plated case, brown dial and leather strap, and a sportier version with a steel case, silver dial with green accents and brown leather strap.

Each version will be limited to 1,888 pieces, each individually numbered, and presented in an elegant gift box with matching stop timer pocket watch. It is water-resistant to 10 atm.

In related news, Frédérique Constant has been appointed the official timing partner of the 2010 Healey Challenge in the UK, organised by The Healey Drivers Club – the world’s oldest club catering to Healey car enthusiasts. Named the John Healey Memorial International Meet, the 2010 Healey Challenge UK will take place from 6 to 9 May 2010.

As a subtle hint to the Healey Challenge 2010, the official logo of the event is engraved on the case back of the Frédérique Constant Healey Chrono-Automatic, alongside the aperture offering a glimpse of the automatic movement inside.
