breo’s new POS units for watches and earphones |
UK. The breo fashion accessories brand has launched into the ferry market for summer 2011.
The company said it had invested heavily in stylish POS units which allow customers to touch the products before purchase.
The POS units have played a large part in securing listings with a number of ferry operators, a channel which is offering great expansion potential for breo, according to the brand’s agent, Market Connections.
Ferry listings have been secured onboard DFDS Seaways, Condor, Stena Line, Brittany Ferries and Nordic Ferries via Valora Trade.
Listings have primarily been for breo’s multifunctional sports digital watch, the Roam; the analogue version, the Venture; and the Candy Drop noise-reducing earphones.
The Roam watches and Candy Drop earphones both come in a wide variety of colours.
Rob Morrison of Tyko Trading, breo’s parent company, said the plan for 2011 was further expansion and new product launches.
He added that the company would target ground stores and ferry operators as well as the Asia Pacific, Middle East and US markets.
