The lounge offers access to Delta members plus concierge services for duty free and foreign exchange |
A bistro-style menu and selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at no extra cost, and there are floor to ceiling views of the runway from the facility.
In addition customers can take advantage of free Wi-Fi, fax, scanning and printing services, and conference call facilities in one of the private meeting rooms. The travel spa offers a number of hair, nail and body treatments.
For what is called a full “˜driveway to runway experience’ customers can also pre-book No.1 Traveller’s chauffeur service and take advantage of a range of concierge add-on services, including personal shopping with a World Duty Free personal shopper and foreign exchange in association with Moneycorp, commission-free, which can be delivered direct to the lounge.
No.1 Traveller Head of Finance & Commercial Paul Lawes said: “We are delighted to be working with Delta Air Lines as the first airline partner of the recently launched No.1 Gatwick lounge, offering their BusinessElite and Medallion customers an enhanced travelling experience.
“Our aim is to provide a sophisticated setting in which travellers are able to relax and unwind before departure, while catering for all their needs, and we hope that the range of facilities we have in our new lounge means passengers can start their journey in style.”
“With these new lounge facilities at London Gatwick we are successfully delivering Delta’s value proposition of personal comfort, personal productivity options and personal service,” added Jill Gosling, Delta Airport Customer Service Manager at London Gatwick.
“Delta provides lounge facilities throughout the US as well as worldwide, ensuring a comfortable travel experience for all Delta’s BusinessElite and Medallion passengers across our extensive global network.”
