Joe Porcelli is set to bring a new focus to the travel retail segment of the Oscar de la Renta business, the company says |
US. Joe Porcelli has been appointed Senior Executive at designer fashion label Oscar de la Renta, responsible for the development of the travel retail business globally.
Porcelli comes to Oscar de la Renta with over 20 years of international experience, working for global fragrance and cosmetics companies. His expertise will bring a new focus to the travel retail segment of the Oscar de la Renta business, the company said.
Oscar de la Renta Chief Executive Alex Bolen commented: “The global travel retail channel, from airport duty free to resort retailing, represents a major business opportunity for Oscar de la Renta.
“We are pleased that Joe has joined our team to develop these opportunities. He brings to us high-level product knowledge, and important retail relationships from around the world. We look forward to his valuable insights.”
Oscar de la Renta is one of the world’s pre-eminent designers. The company was established in 1965, and currently produces a full line of women’s accessories, bridal, home decor and fragrance, in addition to its signature women’s ready-to-wear collection.
