US. HMSHost has introduced the Pei Wei Asian dining concept to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) Terminal 1. The opening marks the Pei Wei concept’s debut at an airport.

Pei Wei is part of the P.F. Chang’s chain of restaurants and features Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine with breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

“We are delighted to add Pei Wei to travellers’ dining options,” said Metropolitan Airports Commission Director-Commercial Management and Airline Affairs Eric Johnson. “We encourage travellers to add a little spice to this year’s holiday travels by tasting some of the great dishes now available at MSP’s new Pei Wei restaurant.”

Pei Wei’s signature dishes include the popular Pei Wei Spicy Chicken, the traditional Mandarin Kung Pao Chicken and the Mongolia Steak. All signature wok dishes are cooked to order and come with a choice of steak, chicken or vegetables.

Breakfast options include a mango sausage & egg fried rice wrap, which includes mango jalapeño sausage, cilantro, scallions and egg on a tortilla, with a garlic scallion sauce, or the more traditional breakfast croissant, which includes egg, Monterey Jack cheese, bacon and Sriracha lime mayonnaise.

Pei Wei customers can choose a table inside the dining area or they can dine in the patio seating area available in front of the restaurant.

HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Joe Waller said: “We are extremely proud to offer Twin Cities’ travellers the first airport-based Pei Wei in the world. Pei Wei is one of the most innovative and award-winning restaurants in the industry. The food is fresh, made to order, and delicious. It will definitely make the traveller’s day better.”
