Rémy Martin Cognac bottle bathed in gold and light for Cannes Film Festival

Rémy Martin VSOP Cannes Classic format is on sale from April 2012 exclusively in the biggest international airports


Rémy Martin, official supplier to the Cannes Film Festival, is marking this year’s premier movie event with a 2012 Collector’s Limited Edition bottle of VSOP Cognac.

Rémy Martin, which has supported the Cannes Film Festival for many years, pays homage in 2012 with a new limited edition of its signature VSOP. The bottle is dressed in gold and light, following the flamboyant “Red Carpet” version in 2010 and a black and gold bottle produced in 2011.

The prestigious designs are each inspired by the Croisette boulevard, film stars and glamour.

The 65th Cannes Film Festival, which will be held from 16 to 27 May, sees Rémy Martin offer three exclusive new Collector’s formats:

• Collector’s 1-litre Classic Format – Limited Edition (RRP: €55)
• Collector’s 1.5-litre Magnum Format – Limited Edition (2,000 bottles) RRP: €200
• Collector’s 3-litre Jeroboam Format – Limited Edition (800 bottles) RRP: €500

Travel retail launch begins in April

The Rémy Martin VSOP Cannes Classic format (one-litre bottle) is being offered from mid-April exclusively in the biggest international airports including Paris Charles de Gaulle, Nice, Oslo, Dubai, Beirut, New Delhi, Moscow, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York JFK.

Eye-catching displays featuring the same gold and light theme promote the Rémy Martin VSOP Cannes Limited Edition in many of the selected airports, the Cognac house said.

Limited numbers of the Jeroboam (three-litre bottle) and Magnum (1.5-litre) formats, all individually numbered, will be available at prestigious points of sale in domestic markets and directly from Rémy Martin at its home in Cognac, France.
