JAPAN. Japanese casual wear retailer Uniqlo has opened its first duty free pop-up store at Haneda Airport’s International Terminal, according to Airport News Japan.
Open from 14 September until 29 October, the 20sq m pop-up store only carries Uniqlo’s Heattech line of apparel, designed to help the wearer stay warm in winter.
Located in the duty free area beyond passport control, the store is meant to be a showroom introducing Heattech to the world via the 20,000 or so travellers who pass through the terminal daily.
