Leading eyewear designer and distributor Mondottica will make its second appearance at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition (stand number: Red Village K30), showcasing a couple of new brands and one of its most successful brands, Ted Baker.
Adlens
New to the Mondottica portfolio is Adlens, a brand of variable focus eyewear from the UK. The company was established in 2005 with the aim of addressing the need for refractive vision correction in the developing world and building commercial applications of variable focus lens technology.
Mondottica will present the company’s new collection, Adlens Adjustables. Designed as a temporary solution for lost or broken contact lenses or glasses, the line of variable focus glasses are instantly adjustable and make for an emergency spare pair for those in need.

The pair of glasses is continuously adjustable, using two sliding lenses with Alvarez profiles. A small dial can be turned by the end user to find their prescription; each lens can have a different prescription.
The contemporary styling of the Adlens range includes a thinned and trimmed brow bar, adjustable nosepiece for better fit, and a thinner temple profile. It also has a thinner lens design, less obtrusive edges and is available in seven new colours.
Cacharel Paris
Another new addition to the Mondottica portfolio is Cacharel Paris, a French brand of ready-to-wear fashion apparel, fragrance and accessories.
The Cacharel Paris eyewear collection, with its gentle feminine shapes and tender colour treatments, remains true to the brand’s core values: unostentatious femininity, charm and gracefulness. Ten bespoke designs are available in the Sunglass launch collection.
Ted Baker
A reflection of the brand’s distinctive, unconventional approach to fashion, the Ted Baker eyewear collection offers both acetate and metal styles, along with a large colour palette with additional pearl effects, gradients and two-tone colours.
Mondottica Sales Manager Julie Hawkins said: “We have seen extremely positive sales results this season with Ted Baker. Currently we are listed in 20 UK airport stores but next season should see an increase as a result of such a successful year, which we are delighted about.”
