Heinemann will open a 1,400sq m store at Novosobirsk’s new international terminal next year |
RUSSIA. Gebr Heinemann has signed a long-term agreement with Novosobirsk Airport to become the main duty free operator at its new international terminal when the facility is opened next year.
The retailer will open a 1,400sq m walk-through store featuring fragrances and cosmetics, liquor and tobacco, confectionery and fashion and accessories.
Heinemann Head of Russia/CIS Pierre Viarnaud said: “We are very happy, to be selected by Novosibirsk Airport and are looking forward to developing our presence at this airport which has a very promising future.”

Novosobirsk is the third biggest city in Russia by population. Heinemann said that, behind Moscow and St Petersburg and alongside Ekaterinburg, it has the most development potential for international travel of any Russian city.
Novosobirsk serves around 1 million international passengers a year. The new terminal is set to open in April or May next year.
