Lindt Swiss Master Chocolatiers add theatre and artisanry to Zürich Airport

SWITZERLAND. Lindt & Sprüngli has brought its expertise in chocolate making to passengers as part of a promotion at Lindt’s shops (operated by Nuance) in Zürich Airport for two weekends in November.

The “˜Lindt Chocolate Festival Event’ featured the Lindt Duty Free team dressed as Lindt Swiss Master Chocolatiers, offering customers the chance to sample the brand’s chocolate artisanry – the pralines.

Nuance European Confectionery Buyer Lorenz Asch said: “The Lindt Duty Free team has inspired their customers with the “˜Lindt Chocolate Festival Event,’ thereby showing an interest in the direct feedback of end customers. This was the first time that a complete team from a supplier hosted an event.”

During the promotion, Lindt said passengers gave the team great feedback as well as insight into customer needs.

The company said Zürich Airport remains a strategic location for Lindt, as evidenced by previous campaigns such as the Roger Federer promotion, which took place in September this year.

Lindt produces an exclusive duty free range for the Lindt store at Zürich Airport, as well as offering passengers the opportunity to watch live chocolate making there year-round.
