Pernod Ricard-owned Absolut Vodka maintained its lead in the number of liquor SKUs listed in travel retail outlets over other vodka brands last month, according to a monthly survey by Air4casts.
Air4casts’ BrandWeb category update for February, which focused on vodka, placed Absolut in the number one spot with 1,416 SKUs, followed by Smirnoff (Diageo) at 739, Belvedere (Louis Vuitton-Moët Hennessey) at 376, Finlandia (Altia) at 351 and Grey Goose (Bacardi) at 300 (see chart below).

The report covered 96 vodka brands – including those listed above as well as others such as 42 Below and Zubrowka – sold in 280 airport, airline and ferry outlets.
The report also said that Belvedere more than doubled its online presence in travel retail since a year ago to 108 SKUs. Ciroc had a +70% increase in travel retail listings compared with the same month last year while Grey Goose had a +40% increase in SKU growth (see chart below).

Other notable increases included Danzka at +13%, moving into eighth position, and Russian Standard, which jumped ahead to thirteenth with a +21% rise in listings.
Meanwhile, 42 Below and Beluga Vodka SKUs declined while Finlandia’s remained flat.
The Moodie Report and Air4casts recently entered into an informal working alliance to support each other’s complementary product range.
