Tahitian pearl specialist Robert Wan will unveil four collections designed exclusively for travel retail during the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore from 11-15 May (Stand Number: S17 Level1).
Robert Wan pearls are recognized for their quality and size, lustre and colours ranging from peacock to grey and cherry. According to company, its “secret” lies in the quality of the Pinctada Margaritifera hosting oyster, a native to French Polynesia.
The travel retail designs include:
Essentielle – composed of basic pieces, this collection combines modernity and simplicity with every piece adorned with a single pearl to be worn as a protective talisman.
Intemporelle – celebrates pearls in all shapes and features pearls of “exceptional” size, colour and purity. This line, according to Robert Wan “enhances every woman’s natural beauty”.
Ethnicchic – with this collection, Robert Wan creates a “new vision of jewellery, fashion and art”, combining Black Tahitian Pearl with silk and natural fibres, to offer contemporary, elegant and extravagant creations.
Ariaké – takes its name from the Japanese term for “˜bright light’, and showcases an ancestral savoir-faire from the Land of Rising Sun, the Maki-e. Each handmade pearl is dressed in a combination of a type of tree resin and mineral powders, such as gold, silver, or natural pigments. In respect of the traditional techniques, the ‘Jewel of the South Seas’ is, according to Robert Wan, transformed into a bespoke “masterpiece”.
