Coty Prestige has unveiled a new feminine fragrance from the house of Balenciaga – the brand’s first under the auspices of Alexander Wang, who was appointed Creative Director in 2012, following the departure of Nicolas Ghesquière. B.Balenciaga will be introduced in October.

“This was such an exciting project for me because it’s my first time working on a fragrance,” noted the designer. “It was important to capture the woman, the essence, the personality of B.Balenciaga.”
The fragrance aims to deliver a new spin on Balenciaga’s heritage, according to the brand. The scent is described as sophisticated, feminine, statement-making and timeless.
The juice is green and woody; the “architectural” flacon features cracked, frosted glass that references the marble floors in Balenciaga’s original Paris boutique. The ad campaign features model Anna Ewers and was shot by Steven Klein.
