YSL Beauté targets Chinese travellers with DFS T Galleria Hong Kong counter

HONG KONG. YSL Beauté Travel Retail Asia Pacific opened a new counter at DFS T Galleria Hong Kong, Causeway Bay on 23 August.

Said to embody the brand’s “young, edgy and luxury” DNA, the outlet is targeting young Chinese travellers with a campaign called “˜Travel in YSL Radiance’. A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony, which will include an exclusive (by appointment only) Google Glass digital makeup experience, is planned for 30 September.

The YSL Beauté campaign highlights key YSL products including the Touche Éclat concealer pen and travel exclusive makeup palettes. Special offers, gifts and complimentary engraving service on selected products are also part of the promotion.

Online and offline activities will run through the Chinese Golden Week at the beginning of October, covering the high season travel period. YSL Beauté ran a pre-opening online and travel guide campaign in China targeting travellers to Hong Kong and offered location-based advertising for Chinese app users in the Causeway Bay area to drive more traffic to the counter.
