Calling for FAB Awards nominations as registration opens for Geneva event

INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Report and sister title The Foodie Report are calling for nominations for the highly anticipated 2016 Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Awards, with a submission deadline of 11 March.

The awards are a cornerstone of the FAB Conference & Awards event, which returns this year, and will be held at the InterContinental Hotel, Geneva on 29 June – 1 July. Geneva Airport and Caviar House Airport Premium are joint hosts. Registration for the Conference & Awards has now opened at fabawards2016.com, featuring a discounted ‘Early Bird’ option.

The awards celebrate the best in travel-related dining around the world, and this year feature a total of 17 categories, including Airport Food & Beverage Offer of the Year, Best Airport Chef-Led/Fine Dining, Best Food & Beverage-Related Innovation, Best F&B Marketing & Promotions Campaign, Best Airport Food & Beverage Reflecting “˜Sense of Place’, a FAB Consumer Choice Award and many more (full list below).

This year’s FAB Awards judges have also been named. They are:

As in previous years. the FAB Conference will seek to champion excellence in the consumer offer; discuss key industry themes and challenges and seek ways to grow the business for all stakeholders. The full conference speaker line-up will be revealed soon.

The closing day of FAB 2016 will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Montreux Jazz Festival, on Friday 1 July, to which FAB delegates will receive complimentary transport and passes to the opening night.
