Hanse Distribution has extended its Kyutec well-being range to include new, inflight exclusive Abdominal Trainer.
Presented for the first time at last year’s TFWA World Exhibition, the travel-sized Abdominal Trainer is described as “compact, ready to use and a must-have for those on-the-go”. The product will be available onboard Lufthansa, Aeroflot and Malaysian Airlines from March 2016.

The launch of the Abdominal Trainer follows the introduction of the Child Guard Phone and the Snore Stopper to the Kyutec line in 2015. According to Hanse Distribution, the products received a “tremendous reception” and achieved listings on international airlines including Lufthansa, KLM, Singapore Airlines and airberlin.
Hanse said that the Electro Pain Relief Pads performed best out of all Kyutec products last year. Launched in April 2015, in a short space of time the item achieved listings on over 25 airlines and, according to Hanse, ranks in the top three in the electronics and well-being category on airlines worldwide.
Hanse Distribution Sales Director Anna Berezhnaya revealed that the Electro Pain Relief Pads already have over 20 pre-confirmed listings for 2016. “The product was destined to be a success,” noted Berezhnaya. “It has great functionality, small and light packaging, attractive price point for an impulse purchase, easy to understand and a nice design.”

Berezhnaya added: “Since the Kyutec brand launched in travel retail in 2013 with the Digital Alcohol Tester and the Travel-size UV-C steriliser, Kyutec has now become the most recognised brand in our portfolio, with over 150 listings on airlines worldwide.
“Our vision for this brand was always to create cool-designed, innovative travel gadgets with a quality that would meet the high German standards. In 2014, we had only six Kyutec articles listed, and at the end of 2015 we had more than doubled this. A fantastic achievement that we are very happy with.
“With the growth of the electronics category in the inflight retail business in the last few years, gadgets and well-being products have become as important for our inflight business as watches and jewellery, and we will work on expanding the brand line and introducing new end exciting articles in 2016.”
