Deau Cognac introduced a new expression to its Deau Extra Black range at last week’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore.
Limited to 1,500 units, and with a recommended retail price of US$349, Black Harmony is said to recognise one of the company’s most important values. According to Deau Cognac Commercial Director Olivier Hidier, the limited edition targets a younger market.

Speaking at the Singapore show, Hidier said: “We are thrilled to be releasing this limited edition Deau Extra Black that ranks higher than our signature XO. We knew that we wanted to release something special to increase our recognition but thought that this prestigious blend deserved more than just an exclusive gift box.
“We wanted to bring some fun and liveliness to our portfolio and this limited edition certainly does that.
“We may be a small brand in travel retail in comparison to the main Cognac players but we have a unique offering, which is quite exceptional, and one we feel is ideal for this region.”
Asia accounts for 40% of Deau Cognac’s business. The brand recently opened a new commercial office in Shandong Province, Tsing Tao and is focusing on strengthening relationships with key Asian retailers.
At TFWA Asia Pacific Deau Cognac also highlighted its Privilège Cognac, along with its Cognac Extra Black, which was presented in a more premium black cover and gift pack.
