CANADA. Abbotsford Duty Free and Importations Guay Limitee captured Platinum Awards in recognition of their outstanding recent performances at the annual Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) Awards in Toronto this week. The awards were the centrepiece of the Gala Evening, which traditionally closes the FDFA Convention.
Best Marketing Award went to West Coast Duty Free, while Niagara Duty Free won Best New Idea. Also among land border stores, Sault Ste. Marie Duty Free won the National Brand Integration accolade.

Aer Rianta International-North America won Best Airport Duty Free Company. JTI-MacDonald and Michel German took the Supplier of the Year prizes.
The Moodie Davitt Report and Travel Markets Insider co-sponsored a number of the product awards, won respectively by brands Dior, Crown Royal, Maple Cream cookies and Relic handbags.
