For each terminal B&S has introduced a different concept based on the different passenger profiles. Both B&S and Bremen Airport said they have “high expectations of the airport shopping experience that has been created”.

Bremen Airport CEO Jürgen Bula said: “B&S has a clear understanding what regional travellers are looking for and what airport management expect from a concessionaire. The close partnership contributed to an optimal integration of the new shop concepts in the total airport environment.”

B&S Managing Director Maurice Riegel said: “The opening at Bremen Airport represents an important part of B&S’ retail development strategy. B&S has built years of experience in regional airport retail, being a long-term partner, amongst others, of Eindhoven Airport, where we have outperformed the passenger growth over the past few years and have proven ourselves in understanding the international traveller.”

Bremen Airport, located in the northwest of Germany, handles around 2.7 million passengers a year and has around 50 non-stop destinations to 20 countries in Europe and North Africa.
