USA. A HMSHost-operated Shake Shack is to open at Los Angeles International Airport Terminal 3 next week.
The LAX Shack, opening in partnership with developer Westfield and Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), will open for business on 28 June. The ‘roadside’ burger stand will serve its range of 100% all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef burgers as well as breakfast, coffee and other Shake Shack classics.
The outlet will be open daily from 4.30am to 12.00am.
“We’ve built such a strong community in LA since we opened our first Shack last year at West Hollywood,” said Shake Shack Vice President of Global Licensing Michael Kark. “We’ve always had hopes for a [Los Angeles International Airport] restaurant and are thrilled that it’s becoming a reality.
“We’re excited to share the Shake Shack experience with even more Angelenos and with travellers from around the world”.
HMSHost President & CEO Steve Johnson commented: “HMSHost is thrilled to be bringing Shake Shack to LAX and delivering this beloved burger brand to travellers.
“We’re also very excited that we’re able to do this alongside LAWA and Westfield, a perfect debut for this exciting new partnership.”
