L’Oréal Paris has collaborated with fashion house Balmain Paris to create an exclusive capsule lipstick collection.
L’Oréal Paris x Balmain Paris, which is said to channel Balmain’s rock goddess vision of beauty, will be revealed this week during Paris Fashion Week, for which L’Oréal Paris is the Official Partner.
The collection features 12 shades of L’Oréal Paris’s Color Riche lipstick, including three new colour themes. The line will be available in selected L’Oréal Paris points-of-sale only, including travel retail Europe. It will be rolled out to travel retail Asia Pacific from January 2018.
A lipstick jewel edition showcasing the three star shades from the L’Oréal Paris x Balmain Paris collection will also be exclusively available at Balmain Paris stores and select retailers worldwide.

Balmain Paris Creative Director Olivier Rousteing was in charge of the creative direction for the lipstick colours, pack design and ad campaign.
Rousteing said: “L’Oréal Paris and Balmain share the same strong vision of femininity and the same goal, to empower women and offer them diverse ways to express themselves. With this collaboration, I’m thrilled to make this idea tangible for every woman around the world.”

L’Oréal Paris Global Brand President Emmanuel Angeloglou commented: “L’Oréal Paris loves this vision of a new Parisian beauty developed by Olivier Rousteing. This collaboration builds on the partnership between L’Oréal Paris and Paris Fashion Week which seeks to democratise runway beauty for everyone.
“Olivier Rousteing and his Balmain Paris team have proved exceptional partners in making this idea a reality. Accessible beauty and high fashion now have a symbolic meeting point: this new Color Riche limited collection with Balmain Paris.”
