USA. United Airlines and OTG have opened Gavi, a new dining concept, at Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport Terminal E. The opening is part of the latest wave of commercial investment at the location.
Gavi features a southern Italian-inspired menu developed with Houston Chef Ryan Pera of Revival Market and Coltivare. It pairs local ingredients and traditional family recipes, said OTG.

The design aims to recreate the atmosphere of an outdoor Italian terrazza. Designed in collaboration with Rockwell Group, the 110+ seat concept resembles a patio dining experience with black canopies and abstracted trees. To accentuate the space and give Gavi guests an “al fresco” feel, large vases housing lemon trees are scattered throughout, backed by an abstracted ceramic wall featuring a mosaic of falling leaves in shades of white and green.
