SINGAPORE. The Shilla Duty Free is celebrating its fourth anniversary as Changi Airport’s cosmetics and fragrances retailer by bringing its new brand ambassadors, K-pop sensation Highlight, to the airport for an exclusive fan meet.
The 12 October event will be Highlight’s first appearance in Singapore as the appointed face of the global duty free retailer [Highlight recently performed at Hong Kong International Airport to mark the inauguration of The Shilla Duty Free’s Beauty&You stores).
The hugely popular boy band will entertain fans with a performance and ‘hi-touch’ (meet and greet) opportunities. Four of the five band members will be present, the exception being Yoon Doo-joon who is completing Korea military service obligations.
The Shilla Duty Free said that the event is to thank passengers for their support over the past four years in Singapore, and “a toast to the many bright years to come”. Adding to the celebratory mood, Highlight (formerly Beast) will also be marking its ninth anniversary in October.
Tickets to the exclusive fan meet are available to the public only through The Shilla Duty Free stores at Changi Airport terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4.
For every S$200 (US$145) spent at any The Shilla Duty Free store at Changi between 20 August and 14 September, shoppers will earn the chance to win a pair of fan meet passes.
