Lotte Duty Free announces a new series of shopper promotions

SOUTH KOREA. Travellers can celebrate the arrival of autumn at Lotte Duty Free shops by winning a car worth US$90,000. This is just one of a number of promotions Lotte is launching this season to entice shoppers.

To mark Chuseok, or autumn eve, the retailer is holding a Golden Fever event on 31 August offering a variety of benefits and prizes, including the chance to win a Tesla Model S75D (first prize) and Tesla Kids Car (second prize), each worth a total of KRW 100 million.

Customers who spend more than US$1 at Lotte Duty Free’s domestic stores will be eligible to win the Tesla prize.

This forms part of a range of sweepstakes events and gift offers for domestic tourists who travel overseas during the event.

There will also be a special gift-giving event commemorating the launch of ‘Yum’ mobile magazine. After subscribing to Yum, customers spending more than US$1 at the Lotte Duty-Free Shop at Myeongdong Head Office, World Tower Store, and COEX Mall will be presented with an ‘Ittimem Picnic Box’, which contains a variety of picnic items.

Other promotions cover a range of products, including cosmetics from brands including Lauren Moisturizing Cream, Lab Series Rescue Water Lotion, Estee Lauder Brown, La Mer, Clinique, Lab Series, Aveda, Origin, and Darphin.

Try your luck: Lotte’s autumn promotions offer the chance of a variety of gifts, from picnic boxes filled with treats to beauty products and concert tickets.

Anyone spending more than US$2,000 at the Lotte Duty Free Shop, Myeongdong Headquarters, World Tower Store, and COEX Store, will get tickets to the musical “Barnum: Great Showman”.

At the Lotte Duty Free World Tower store, special events will be held for domestic customers. Anyone spending more than US$1,600 between 9am and 2pm will receive four tickets for Lotte Cinema, or two if they spend US$800 or more.
