SPAIN. Areas has opened the largest Burger King in Spain at Barcelona–El Prat Airport.
The 661sq m outlet is located in the Sky Center shopping area in Terminal 1 and has capacity for 223 diners. The fast food unit features 12 self-service kiosks and seven payment points at the counter, which Areas said would speed up the ordering process for passengers in a hurry.

It is the twentieth Burger King to be opened by the Spanish food & beverage company, and the fourth at Barcelona-El Prat.
Areas said an additional Burger King outlet would be opened in the coming months in Terminal 2.
