ALBANIA. Tirana International Airport is inviting potential partners to tender for 282sq m of duty free space in departures, via The Moodie Davitt Report (see banner on our home page). The airport company said the location represents “a unique and highly attractive location for retailers with a double-digit growth in passengers.”

Candidates should provide evidence of experience and qualifications to manage the duty free business, including information on current activities, number, size and location of other outlets, turnover from the past three years and number of staff. They must demonstrate financial solidity with minimum relevant turnover in the last financial year of at least €1,000,000, as well as relevant IT and data management expertise in duty free systems.
To take part, companies will need to express their interest by 7 December to obtain the Request for Proposals (RFP), available from the address below. Those companies that sign a confidentiality agreement will then be given full information.
