PERU. Inversiones Fisa and Lima Airport Partners have opened two expanded international VIP lounges at Jorge Chavez International Airport.
The renovation of the lounges, which are called Sumaq and Hanaq, represents an investment of more than US$6million.

Sumaq (which means ‘the most beautiful, the best’) has increased in size from 636sq m to 1,231sq m, with capacity up from 100 to 278 people. Hanaq (which means ‘the highest’) previously covered an area of 687sq m and is now 1,485sq m. Capacity has increased from 170 to 367 people.
The partners said the expansion would allow about 4,500 passengers to be served daily.
The new VIP lounges feature multiple buffet bars and different varieties of Peruvian and international food. Other amenities include rest areas, showers and work areas. Hanaq also features a children’s area with games for small travellers.

Inversiones FISA CEO Sandra Bravo said: “It has been a tremendous effort on the part of our team, cooperating with other companies and professionals, such as Malachowski design workshop, with whom we were able to take what seemed an impossible challenge.”
Lima Airport Partners Central Commercial Manager Norbert Onkelbach commented. “The presentation of the new international VIP lounges represents a great effort to provide world-class service to all airport users. We continue working together to continue providing quality care to all our visitors at Jorge Chávez.”
