Italian distillery and winery Bottega is set to launch a Bottega Pomegranate liqueur and new sizes for Gin Bacûr at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Blue Village A11).
According to the company, Bottega Pomegranate was developed in response to consumer demands for superfood-based products which include nutrient-rich ingredients that can positively affect health. The pomegranate fits this remit by containing mineral salts, vitamins and antioxidants.
Bottega uses juice from the seeds of Sicilian pomegranates, which is blended with alcohol, grappa and sugar to produce Bottega Pomegranate. The liqueur has a ruby red colour, a fresh taste and a “pleasing tartness”, according to the brand.
New 1-litre and 5cl sizes for Bottega’s Gin Bacûr, which is produced in Italy and includes juniper berries, sage and lemon zest, will also be highlighted at the Cannes event. Five sizes are now available: 5cl miniature bottle, 10cl (spray version), 50cl, 70cl and 1-litre.
Bottega will also feature other products including Bottega Gold, Bottega Stardust, Il Vino dell’Amore Petalo Moscato and Bottega Limoncino.
