USA. Mark Mariani has been appointed as Vice President of Business Development at Miami-based travel retailer 3Sixty Duty Free & More.
Mariani, a respected travel retail veteran, joined the Benny Klepach-led company on 6 January and is based in Miami. He takes charge of Corporate Business Development across the globe and reports to Executive Vice-Chairman Roberto Graziani,
Mariani has nearly 30 years of experience in the duty free channel, initially on the vendor side at Philip Morris International and most recently as Director of External Affairs at Heinemann Americas.
Graziani commented “We’re delighted to have Mark join 3Sixty. His knowledge of the industry and breadth of experience, particularly in the Americas, complement our strategic commitment to becoming a leading force and a disruptive leader in the travel retail industry.”
As revealed by The Moodie Davitt Report last October, Hotel Shilla, parent company of Korean travel retail giant The Shilla Duty Free, is subscribing to 44% of the share capital of 3Sixty Holding LLC, parent company of 3Sixty Duty Free & More (formerly DFASS Group).
